Cleveland Manor partners with Case Systems on apartment renovations

MIDLAND, Mich. (April 13, 2022) – Cleveland Manor is excited to partner with a local casework manufacturer for an upcoming multi-million dollar renovation.

Residents of Cleveland Manor I will soon receive kitchen cupboards and countertops produced by Case Systems. The company offered to provide the cabinetry at a significantly reduced cost, translating into savings of more than $40,000. The cabinetry will be installed as part of a larger renovation project set to begin this spring.

“The Case Systems team learned about this project through our Community Giving Committee. We immediately knew that we wanted to support the Cleveland Manor renovation with our products and expertise,” said Kelly Wehner, President of Case Systems. “It is our vision to come together to positively impact peoples’ lives. Our team will do just that by providing new kitchen cabinets to the Cleveland Manor apartments.”

The cabinets produced by Case Systems feature high-pressure decorative laminate with a classic maple design. 3mm edge banding will give the cabinets and countertops added durability.

“We are thrilled about the quality cabinets we are receiving from Case Systems, and we’re looking forward to providing them to our residents,” said Trudy Laufer, Executive Director of Cleveland Manor. “The fact that we get to partner with a Midland-based company is an added bonus. This renovation will truly be a community effort!”

Cleveland Manor I provides 105 apartments to older adults living on a low income. Built in 1968, it was the first affordable housing option for Midland County’s senior citizens. The building is located on a seven-acre site with its sister complex, Cleveland Manor II. Both buildings are managed by nonprofit organizations, collectively called Cleveland Manor.
